I want to introduce how I deal with disappointment. In my life, I often have different problems, and fell disappointed. But , when I face difficulties, I usually try to keep cool and deal with these problems step by step.

However, I still have some disappointment that I can not deal with by myself. In this case, I will turn to my best friends who can help me to solve these problems or I will go to my mother instead. And, if I still have a bad mood, I will go to a movie, sing a song or play basketball to leave all my worries behind.

To sum up, in facing disappointment, I depend on my friend and my parents, because they always give me a huge boost to face these difficulties.

Hollow, everyone. My name is Melissa. I live in Taipei. My birthday is October 22th, 1988. I am twenty years old now. I study in Fu Jen Catholic University. And my major is nursing. I like to watch TV, read comic book and read novel. I also like sport, such as play basketball and ride bicycle. In the weekend, I usually go bike riding with my family.

I like take a trip. My first time to go to another country is Japan in this year. It was a very abundant travel. I went to Chiba, Shinjuku and a lot of place in Tokyo. I saw the Fuji Mountain, Tokyo Iron Pagoda, and a big outlet. It was very specious and beautiful view. I also ate Sushi, oolong noodles, spring egg and Nattou. I don’t like Nattou because I think it is just a stinking bean. When I came back to Taiwan I found that I got fat two kilograms, because I ate too much delicious food. In 2004, the Wang's coach in Yankees taught him to throw a new pitch, the sinker. Unexpectedly, it became his best pitch.
During his rookie year, Wang's main goal was stay in the Major Leagues. If it was his turn to pitch, he would always be the first player on his team to appear at the stadium to pratice, and the last one to leave.
In 2006, he took baseball fans by storm by nailing 19 wins, the highest in the Major Leagues! The sinker is his best weapon. It starts off straight, but drops sharply as it reaches the plate.
Wang shows no fear, even when pitching in big game. He is always calm. When he pitches, he focus on the batter and the catcher, blocking out distractions. One report even caughter Wang relaxing by doing a sudoku puzzle before a big game.
In Taiwan, wheneven he goes out for dinner, he mobbed by fans waiting his autograph. But Wang is more than a sport hero in Taiwan. He has also become a role model for many young players around the world.

97學年度試辦「輔仁大學英文基本能力檢測」實施要點

一、目的：為提升本校學生英文基本能力，擬於97及98學年度試辦「輔
仁大基本能力檢測」，99學年度起正式列為本校大學部學生之
畢業門檻。

二、檢測日期： 98年4月22日（三）下午2：40至3：30
【註：中文基本能力檢測於當天下午1：40至2：30先行舉辦。】

三、檢測時間： 50分鐘

四、檢測對象： 日間部全體大一學生均須參加檢測。
【註：請外國語文任課教師提供身心障礙學生名單，以協助安排應
試。另若學生有個別狀況需要特別協助者，亦請一併提出申請。】

五、檢測方式： 學生採劃卡方式作答。（須攜帶2B鉛筆）

六、命題方式：以「聽、說、讀、寫」四項能力中「讀」的部分為主，題
型為選擇題，命題範圍不限，相關細節由「英文基本能力
檢測委員會」訂定。

七、通過標準： 通過標準不以60分為及格分，將視檢測後學生實際成績由
本校「英文基本能力檢測委員會」訂定標準。

八、請　　假：學生缺考以零分計算，不得補考。因故無法參加檢測者，
應向任課教師辦理請假，任課教師應於課程大綱中詳列請
假相關規定。

九、成績計算：一、 試辦階段，為使大一學生皆能參加檢測，檢測成績須
納入大一學生「外國語文」（含英文、非英文及進階
英語）課 程之當學期成績一併計算，且應佔當學期總
成績之10％。
二、 重補修生不必參加檢測，故不適用前項計分方式。
三、 檢測請假經任課教師核准者，其檢測成績計算方式由
教師自行決定替代方案。
四、 上述各項計分方式，應詳列於當學期課程大綱中，以
確實週知學生。
